You could enjoy a stunning view of the Alps (french, swiss and italian) from the highest point Chamonix as to offer (as much as 3,842m to be precise). In fact, "Compagnie du Mont Blanc" has laid out a few terraces where you can enjoy a 360° view of the Alps and it would take you 20 minutes to get to the peak by cable car from the centre of Chamonix.
3 years ago, a new attraction was made: "A Step Into the Void". Why not step into a 2.5 meters glass cage and put your fearlenssness to test ? Beneath you will stand 1000m of ... well, nothing.
The attraction is open from now until the 1st of November and will reopen from the 17th of December until the 26th of March 2017.
It will be open daily between 08.10 am and 4.30pm. Make sure you include the 20 minutes journey to the peak in your time planning and it is recommended to allow at least 2 hours to make the most out of the experience.
The prices for the cable car in Chamonix to reach Aiguille du Midi and further information are available on the mountain resort's website.
