92 years of experience in festivities - The Geneva Lake Festival

With approximately 1.5 million visitors each year over the past decade, the Lake Festival is considered one of the main events Geneva has to offer. It is a place of amusement, enchantment and celebration markedly with the Grand fireworks display on Saturday the 13th. There are also various attractions for all ages, captivating street performances and delicious foods to taste for 10 days. The Grand Fireworks Display

For its 92nd edition, the canton of Geneva plans to go big. The pyrotechnics artist Christope Berthonneau along with his team, Group F, are in charge of the grand fireworks display this year. They planned a whole new approach to the show: To use the lake as an artifical mirror along with mystical personalities in the lake to amaze the crowd. Group F is an oustanding team of professionals whom have performed all over the world, notably from the Eiffel Tower in Paris for the French National Day (6 times), in Azerbaidjan for the Eurovision closing ceremony, the Olympics in Torino and the New Year's show in London among others.
