The World Economic Forum 2021 has relocated to Asia

Since its inception, the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting has always been hosted in the alpine town of Davos in Switzerland. Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in Europe, the 2021 edition of the WEF will be relocated to Singapore and is scheduled to take place from the 18th to the 21st of May 2021.

Singapore will be the first Asian country to host this prestigious meeting since its inception. Due to the second wave of Covid-19, most countries have had to shut down their borders. In this year, Singapore reported 58,432 confirmed positive cases, one of the lowest across the globe.
